Riyadh Environment Dept. celebrates World ‎Environment Day

On June 5, 2017, the High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh (HCDR), in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the Saudi Wildlife Authority, the General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection and the Riyadh Municipality, organized a celebration to mark the World Environment Day under the slogan “I am with Nature”.

The three-day event features an exhibition showcasing environmental awareness programs, with a special focus on the negative behaviors in the parks. It also provides comprehensive information on waste recycling in Riyadh city.

The exhibition showcases the beauty of the nature of Riyadh Region and its parks, emphasizing the need for adherence to the environment-friendly behaviors while enjoying such places.

The event aims to spread environmental awareness and promote environment-friendly culture.
